HerbaTherapy Marjoram essential oil (Origanum majorana) – 10 ml

Originally a herb native to the Mediterranean and Asia Minor, it has long been known to humanity. In ancient Egypt healing, disinfecting and preserving effects were attributed to it; the Greeks called it 'joy of the mountains' and used it to treat cramps, edema and even poisoning.

Properties: lowers blood pressure, regulates heart rhythm, supports digestion, antispasmodic, carminative, helps with insomnia, eases anxiety, eases feelings of loneliness and sadness.

Therapeutic suggestions: asthmatic spasms; digestive cramps; bloating; tension headaches; sleep disorders, anxiety; high blood pressure; sinusitis, bronchitis, ear infections.

HerbaTherapy recipes – Spasmodic cough: 15 drops marjoram + 10 drops basil + 10 drops frankincense + 10 ml apricot kernel oil; apply 7–8 drops to the chest and back. For sinusitis: inhale 2 drops marjoram + 2 drops copaiba + 2 drops tea tree essential oil.

Do a skin test before use: apply one drop of the essential oil to the crook of your elbow or the inside of your wrist; if no allergic reaction appears within 24 hours, it can be used safely.
